I was using the I-phone app when I originally posted this. I didn't realize it doesn't post you "sig" (where I have my mods listed), when you use the app.
An update: The Tech called me last weekend and told me to run the truck on stock for a while and then put it back to what ever tune I want to run. He thinks the ECM/FICM needs to "learn"........
I did that and I am back in business. No codes and I LOVE THE TURBO!!
I got locked out of FTE for a while right when all this was happening could have used the advice availible here.
Truck originally went in for a "no start/long cranking times when it does start".
Had HPOP code.
Tech got in and found a leaky plastic fitting and recommended upgrading some other fittings that were better/updated. I had them do the headgaskets while he had the cab off. And the Powermax was an upgrade I have been wanting to do for a while.
I love the performance and the sound of the new turbo. Especially with my exhaust system. Cant wait to pull the trailer and check my mileage on the way back to Alaska this summer.
The only thing I am considering now for it is custom tunes. I have been useing the "canned" tunes that came with my SCT. I run on the performance setting most of the time.....and when I towed the trailer (20,000 lbs) down from Alaska last year I ran the 65+hp towing tune.
