Skipping second
I take my 93 f150 up to 20 mph let off and it skips to 3rd it has an e4od I changed the trans out of a truck that shifted great now it still the same the only thing I didnt change is the tq converter could a bad tq converter let skip a gear? If I pull it down to second it uses second but slips under power?

Pull the DTC codes.. Sounds like you have a code that was causing a problem before and still is...
The E4OD is COMPLETELY computer controlled, any trouble code can and most of the time cause the E4OD to go into limp mode, as it sounds like yours has..

With the new tranny when I put it in reverse it dies feels like its trying to take off in real tall gear?

2nd gear is limp mode for most electronic transmissions. E4ODs also can have a problem with the filter coming loose and touching the bottom of the pan, causing a stall when engaging drive or reverse.
You could get lucky and have a sensor that went bad on you, or you could have burned up everything you just fixed by not following directions.

So when you swapped out the tranny is it possible that you didn't hook something up correctly?
I'm even more curious to know- what year/model truck did you get the other tranny from? It's possible a different year tranny out of a different model truck could be working improperly in your F150.

Is your truck MAF [Mass Air Flow] or SD [Speed Density]?
I'm no expert but if your truck is MAF or SD, and the replacement tranny came out of a truck that was the other type, it's causing drivability issues.
It's also possible that if your truck is an OBD-I and the 95 is OBD-II that could be causing problems as well.
It's just a theory.
