Coil Spring retainer
So I was changing my radius arm bushings and broke the top retainer on one of my fwd coil springs. Can this part be bought or should I just make another one.

Do you mean the strap at the top of the bucket? I'd just bend up some strap steel and weld the correct nut to it. Alternatively. it's a great reason to hit the wrecking yards and do some window shopping!!

Personally, I'd be leery of driving on bumpy, rutted, or pot-holed roads. But the main purpose of the strap is to keep the spring from popping out when it is jacked up. Otherwise, the vehicle's weight and the spring pocket should keep the coil in place.

ditto to the above.
You'd have to REALLY get some air to pop out a coil spring.
I made one outta some scrap steel I had around.
I highly doubt you'd find anything better in a junkyard... probably break it trying to take it off.
