Valve body??

My 4R100 is going to get a new valve body probably sometime this week was wondering if any one had any thoughts as to which one is best? I hear a lot of good things about the John Wood valve body but Im a pretty big fan of sun coast. Any suggestions thoughts or opinions?

Might look into a BTS. I have heard nothing but good things about that place.

I have a John Wood Valve body, and love it. Lots here also have the BTS, both are great

The John Woods VB is said to be more "user friendly" with a tuner. In other words, no reburning/adjustments needed after installation.

OK, i'm still kinda of a newb (less than a year) and as you can tell by my sig have done a few mods. I have a mild case of PMS and am in the exploratory process for new mods.

What exactly does a valve body do, cost, benefits, and installation ease?
I know it's about shifting and such, but that's it. One of my main concerns is my tranny and it's longevity, will this help that? Thanks

The Accumulator Valve Body Riffraff Diesel: John Wood 4R100 Valve Body is modded to quicken and firm up the shifts to reduce slippage. So yes, it does!

Another J. Woods VB customer and couldn't be happier. Well, I could, or have a BTS, both are fantastic.
