Latest Upgrades (with pics)...

I've busy with my '00 F250 lately. In addition to the new suspension and front end (posted in other threads), here are the latest changes. After all said and done, its like driving a new truck..
  • Power retractable running boards
  • New headlights (again...)
  • Painless Wiring power distribution block - I installed this so that I didn't have to splice into other power sources for new accessories. Each one has its own fused circuit.
  • New leather seat covers
  • Seat heaters
  • Automatic headlights
  • Sound deadening
I think the only thing I have left to do is new exhaust and 5 Star tunes. Pics of some of the projects are below.

Power Running Boards:
Extended:

Folded:

Original headlights:

2nd set of headlights. I could never get these to adjust properly.

New headlights. I like these much better.

Yes, I did get the ones that have the lights. After the 2" lift and 35" tires, the wife said I had to get running boards if I ever wanted to drive my truck when the family goes anywhere. I'm a big guy and prefer a little more room than her Explorer. I don't care for the looks of steps, so these were the perfect solution.

I found an aftermarket module on Amazon. I can look up the specific part later if you want.

Looking good! Did you originally have heated seats or did you add an OEM or aftermarket setup to get them? That's the only thing I miss from my 07 Expy.

Where did the replacement leather seat covers come from? My drivers bottom is looking pretty bad and I plan on replacing it.

I too am curious as to where the leather seat covers came from. My OEMs are ok but will be looking to re foam and recover in the future.

The leather seat covers came from letherseats.com, and the were great to work with.

For the seat heater, I just ordered a kit off of ebay that happened to be from a local (Dallas) disctributer. They work great.
