I've busy with my '00 F250 lately. In addition to the new suspension and front end (posted in other threads), here are the latest changes. After all said and done, its like driving a new truck..
Power retractable running boards
New headlights (again...)
Painless Wiring power distribution block - I installed this so that I didn't have to splice into other power sources for new accessories. Each one has its own fused circuit.
New leather seat covers
Seat heaters
Automatic headlights
Sound deadening
I think the only thing I have left to do is new exhaust and 5 Star tunes. Pics of some of the projects are below.
Power Running Boards:
Extended:
Folded:
Original headlights:
2nd set of headlights. I could never get these to adjust properly.
looks sweet i love my amp running boards. did u get the ones with led step lights? i have to retrofit mine w there led kit
Yes, I did get the ones that have the lights. After the 2" lift and 35" tires, the wife said I had to get running boards if I ever wanted to drive my truck when the family goes anywhere. I'm a big guy and prefer a little more room than her Explorer. I don't care for the looks of steps, so these were the perfect solution.
Looking good! Did you originally have heated seats or did you add an OEM or aftermarket setup to get them? That's the only thing I miss from my 07 Expy.
