suspension kit HELP!!

I need some help trying to decide on a lift kit for my truck. Im driving a 2006 F250 crew cab 4x4 lariat 6.0 powerstroke. it is all stock. im in the military and bought it right before i had to deploy and i havent had the time to do anything to it yet. ive been doing my research on lift kits because that is one of the first things i want to to. i want to run 37's on the truck, but im not looking to have it jacked way up in the air just something to clear the tires. i have found 2 kits that have caught my eye.... there is the Ford F250 Super Duty SST Lift Kit: 2005-2007, 4WD Only - 2.5"/2.0"R that says MAX tire 37x12.5x17 from ready lift.... and the 2005-2012 4wd F-250/350 Super Duty 3" Suspension that says RECOMMENDED tire 35x12.5x17 from rough country... and im a little confused seeing as how the rough country lift is a 3" lift shouldnt i be able to fit 37's also since the ready lift kit is only a 2.5 and 2 inch lift and says it will clear 37's????
any and all info and help is greatly appreciated thanks

Boy, if all you want is 37's just get a front end level kit and put 37's under it. I've got a buddy that did just that.

the factory 20's are 34" a level kit should get you 37" may have to trim the front bumber no matter what you do.

Cheezit -

What tires/size are you running with that leveling kit? I'm all stock susp/tires right now, but when I run out of tread, I'm wanting to to the leveling kit in the front with 350 blocks in the rear. Just can't decide what tire/size to run.

FYI, I'm hoping to be local to Ft. Worth real soon.

Cool... that is the stock size I believe. I really want to run 315's, but they aren't available on the tires that I want, so I may try and squeeze 325's on the stock rims.

beware... i was running the factory 20s with the 275/65/20 with a 2inch leveling kit. i got new wheels and tires 35x12.50-20. but my new wheels have over a 5 inch offset. so now when i turn i scrub like hell. so bad i cant even drive it cause i can feel the steering wheel binding up. so my trucks sitting there untill my lift kit comes in from 4 wheel parts. i was rubbing on the back of the front fender.

i just wanted to point out the wheel offset thing to you.

im not sure what it is. but a 4.25 ish offset should be fine in my opinion. where as mine is a 5.03 backspace with a -12mm offset.
