Started working on it today and got the header panel, headlights and grille on as well as making the brackets for the trans cooler. I cut the connectors for the 9007 bulbs off and soldered in the new connectors for the H13's.
Hopefully I will pick up the upper valance and fender flares from the body shop on Monday and finish everything up.
Looking good Darrel I see the Nissan in the background that is pretty cool of the boss to let you use the shop. Also I see what looks like the stock trans cooler and a Tru Cool trans cooler plumber in series or is it something else ? How does that set up work for you ? Thanks
NICE! I as well am gathering the parts for the conversion. Having a tough time finding a OEM header panel. I am going HID I believe and will be trying to get the ballasts with the 9007 plug but with the H13 bulbs.
Looking good Darrell , I have been watching Craigslist ever since you told me about that deal.
I still have the black grille I told you about. Its already cut, just needs paint. I forgot to get your number. Nick has my number if you want it, you can have it,just give me a call.

The truck is looking good !!
Since I run the shop we can usually do about anything we want to our own stuff as long as it doesn't interfere with the normal day to day work.
The tru cool setup works very well for me. I actually had a 26 row 6.0 cooler that I bought from Ziggy and never put it on so I sold it to Matt (snakedoc) for what I paid for it, $40. Now I think I will look for a 31 row to put on. Much cleaner install than the tru cool setup.

I searched ebay to try and find a 9007 to H13 HD harness to power the bulbs straight off of the batteries but didnt find one.
I'll probably eventually go to HID's but thats down the road sometime.

Thats it Roland. Dont need it now because i cut off the 9007 plugs and soldered in the 9008/H13 connectors. The wires had been cut too short off of the plug and thats the whole reason I was looking for the harness in the first place. So I had to improvise and find a nissan connector that had the same style terminals and swap them out.
I found H13 HD harness's on ebay for $45. Alot cheaper than the other ones.
Darrell hang on to it, I will call Nick, he said something to me about wanting one. One of the the two of us will get it. I have your number to I think. I will give u a call
