good morning I was just wondering if anybody would buy a 2006 e350 15 passenger van with the 5.4 and 190000 miles for 7500 it looks brand new on the outside and there is not even one stain on the inside its the cleanest van i've seen the miles just have me scared.
I bought my '01 for $300 and my '03 Ram Quad Cab a few years ago. It wasn't as nice inside as what you describe, had only 130K miles, and a V-10 in the doghouse. Personally, I would have the engine & transmission thoroughly checked with that kind of mileage on it. If they check out OK - then I'd say you have one heck of a deal.
thanks Grems4ever. I see that you have the v10 in your van I was wondering what your around town mileage is cause my second choice is a 2005 e350 with the v10 and 72000 miles on it but iam scared of the fuel mileage. they want 139000 for it they are both at the same dealership and they have maintenance records on both vans.
I don't even like thinking about my around town mileage.
I haven't really driven it much in stop & go traffic, but I have driven it around the metro St. Louis area a couple of years ago and managed to average 12 mpg. Stop & go heavy traffic would probably be around 10-11 mpg. I usually drive it on the open road or towing. I can make 14-15 mpg easy if I keep my foot out of it and have had as high as 16. Towing usually gets between 9-11 mpg depending on where I'm going.
