ventilation control

i recently installed an oem radio/tuner and had to remove and disconnect the dash to do so (2005 F250 crew cab 6.0 dsl). after reinstalling the dash, the blower control only works on the defrost vents no matter where the selector switch is positioned. it is off when in the off position. before removing the dash to look for the prob, any suggestions if there is somewhere else i need to search???

You pulled a vacuum line loose somewhere. The air direction doors are vacuum controlled and when vacuum is lost the doors default to recirculated air to defrost.

You can see the vacuum line under the hood going from the vacuum canister forward into the cab of the truck. If that is all OK, you probably pulled the line loose from the control module.
