The bars from the top of the diff to the arms keep the axle centered due to the tryangularion. It's a desert runner type setup I think. A lot of up and down travel. It's got bars to adjust the pinion angle too. It's pritty sweet.
i dont see how that can work, whats preventing the mounts from pivoting at the frame attaching point?
As force is put on the axle in a sideways motion, the bars atop the diff will brace it. If it moves toward the drivers side, the bar on the passenger side is pulled on, and the one on the drivers side is pushed. Thus keeping the axle centered. Pretty ingenious design.
