Interesting.

The bars from the top of the diff to the arms keep the axle centered due to the tryangularion. It's a desert runner type setup I think. A lot of up and down travel. It's got bars to adjust the pinion angle too. It's pritty sweet.

Do I have to explain better? It's like a tryangulated 4 link but the top bars are mounted to the bottom instead of the frame.

Yes it works

i dont see how that can work, whats preventing the mounts from pivoting at the frame attaching point?

Side to side movement is prevented by the bars from the top of the diff to the bottom bars. The top bars make a brace keepine side to side in check.

As force is put on the axle in a sideways motion, the bars atop the diff will brace it. If it moves toward the drivers side, the bar on the passenger side is pulled on, and the one on the drivers side is pushed. Thus keeping the axle centered. Pretty ingenious design.
