Think mid '90s Bronco seats would fit in my '95 regular cab?

Bronco bucket seats won't fit into a reg cab (or crew cab) without some modification of either the mounting brackets or removing them altogether and mounting them to a seat pan with different tracks like this:

This will allow you to bolt to the 4 original bench seat bolts/holes (as shown in the following pic) and then mount the 4 tracks (from the seat pan) on the bottom of whatever seats you are using.

The reason being is the Bronco floor pan is different than the reg cab/crew cab and I believe (and I'm sure someone can varify for sure) the ext cab is all together different also.

I got some buckets and center console out of a Bronco that I'm dealing with for my own swap and how to go about it. I have feelers out for a seat pan like above to make it really easy but if I don't have any luck tracking that down I'll need to figure out a different way of mounting them.

Here's some pictures I snapped showing what needs to be dealt with.
The reg cab floor pan angle:

This is how the Bronco tracks fit with the rear bolt hole on the original bench seat's rear bolt:

Roughly 15.5/16" from original bench seat rear bolt to front bolt hole:

And roughly 11.5/12" from bolt hole to bolt hole on the Bronco's original tracks:

Hopefully this helps some people out when thinking about swapping Bronco buckets into a reg cab/crew cab.

I must apologize for the slightly incorrect info I stated above; I would edit but this just goes to show you don't do a quick mock up over top of the vinyl mat and take it for fact

The Bronco seats should work in the regular cab. Some shimming may be required for the correct seat angle as I haven't got to actually mounting them in my project truck yet.
Here are some pictures showing the Bronco base on the floor pan. Hopefully you can make out the original bench seat mounting hole/bolt for comparison; if not let me know and I'll edit the picture to high light them.
Also to note in these pictures; I roughly lined up the base to be inline with the steering wheel. Using the original bench seat hole will put your bucket seat set too far to the middle of the cab. ALL 4 new holes must be drilled for this to work.

You can still always get the seat pan mentioned above though and make this kind of swap really simple.

Hopefully this helps and clears up any confusion. I do apologize again for the incorrect information

Question. I have an '86 F150 Regular Cab 4-speed. Looking to do a seat swap as the current interior is TRASHED. I have some seats out of an 01 Dodge Dakota 4 door parts truck. Anyone know if they might work? I'm going to try no matter what, I just want to know how much of a fight I'm in for. Any feedback is appreciated.

If the width is close and you don't mind doing a little cutting/welding to make stuff line up, I imagine you could fit just about anything. I'd be inclined to take the legs from the Ford seat and mate them to the Dodge seat so you could use the factory mounting points in the floor.

My dad got lucky and found a clean F150 seat from the wreckers to replace the mouse hotel that was in there. It wasn't that expensive and it bolted up without any screwing around.
