Got a question for all you bronco guys. Assuming 1356 t-case.
Your front drive shaft uses a Cardian joint, right?
Do you know what u-joint bolts to the t-case yolk?
Also, do you know if you can use a F350 front drive shaft on the bronco t-case?
My 86 Bronco (208 Transfer) only has the Cardian Joint in the rear driveshaft. Usually (you didnt say what year) the F350s have a larger yoke and Ujoint than the 1/2 ton joint(Bronco).
Are we talking about a Bronco or your 350? Broncos did not have a cardan joint on the front axle from the factory, at least not the ones I've seen. But I run one on my Bronco as it had vibration issues after lifting.
Not sure about the u-joint, just look it up online.
Do you mean can you put the 350 driveshaft in the Bronco? Or are you putting the Broncos 1356 in the 350?
My 78 has a cardan on the front, i think it is factory. Here is the rear one i JUST finished doing last night:
And here is the part number for the rear u joint and the front t-case side u joint.
It should have one side longer than the other that goes on the cardan joint housing and the shorter side fits right in the CV ball joint carrier. I don't know if yours will be the same but it is worth a look i spose. BTW i got this part number from NAPA and i should apply to Oriellys too but i don't know about other stores.
