High Startup Speed

A while back I decided to clean the TB on my 2004 5.4 3V. I disconnected the battery and unplugged the wires running to the TB, removed it and cleaned it with the proper cleaner. It wasn't dirty at all and only needed to be wiped with a lightly sprayed shop towel. When I cleaned it, I manually opened the TB blade valve, I was careful with it and did not notice anything wrong. I reassembled everything, reconnected the battery. The problem is when ever I start the truck it will rev up a few 1000 RPM higher than it did before. Then after a few seconds it will settle down to it's normal 600 RPM idle range. There are no codes and it seems to run fine after start up. Did I screw something up? I have an SCT X3 with custom tunes and have re-flashed it with no change. Anyone suggestions?

I have the same issue on a 2006 F250 with the 5.4. I been looking for the answer also. Was thinking a sct programer would solve it but after reading your post , I guess not.
