Question regarding fuel

I have a 1986 Ford 5.0 EFI that will be going into a 1951 F1. This is a running doner. What should I do about the fuel when I shut it down?. It will probably be a year before it is installed and fired up again. Am I better off with stabilizer or run it out of gas or something better? That's my question.
Thank you and all comments appreciated.

Put it in one of your other vehicles (siphon it out). I've run gas that was 7+ yrs old and it will burn OK, but oh, what a stink!! I ran it in my flathead, diluted, but I wouldn't put yourself in that position with an EFI motor.

What I am really concerned about is if the gas was to varnish in the injectors. What is the shelf life of gas in injectors. Anyone know?

Thanks

siphon it , and buy some injector cleaner , the kit that goes on yer rail while it's in a running state and run it dry off the cleaner . should help it . ross i honestly think i could pee in the tanks of my two flatties and they'd run off it , especially if i had a couple the night before .... now they don't really care for that ethanol crap they call fuel that has a little gas mixed in with it herebouts ......

If it's only going to sit for a year, just dump some STABIL in it, run it enough to get it into the injectors and don't worry about it.

A lot of boats sit for a year or more and it's not a problem.
