Need help. Starter Relay Bad?
I've got a 1951 F1 with original flathead V8 and 6 volt. Wire is fairly new. I went to start the truck this morning and it did start up and ran for a little bit. Turned it off to do something. Tried to restart it and it would just crank, then heard a pop at the starter relay. Now it won't event turn the starter when I press the button. I get power to everything else. I'm thinking that I blew the starter relay. Does anyone in the Austin area have a spare 6 volt starter relay I can buy? Really wanted to drive the truck today. I'm in Pflugerville at (512) 989-1908.
