Hey guys,
Been a bit since I posted something non-technical and picture related. Just put some brand new 35's on today... I am very happy with them. Wanted to share some pics with you. I did a couple of HDR's. (sadly only in my front yard, I am going to get some real mountain pics this weekend)
I shared a bunch of documentation stuff about not needing a lift on the Superduty board (https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ure-heavy.html), but wanted to reserve the pics for the diesel guys and I know some of you don't like that particular board, and I didn't want to get in trouble for posting the same thing in two places. Anyway, enjoy!
Cool pics Woo I thought I was having a flash back or something the first few pics were trippy. Good job.
I see you painted the grill inserts black nice touch, Did you have paint the lower valance or was your black? My was like a dark grey I paint mine black.
Once again great pics and the tires and wheel combo on your truck look good.
Very nice , I like the wheels too what brand are they?
Those are MB Motoring 072. they also come in chrome MB Wheels - 72

Thanks! you have to take a picture in +3, 0, and -3 exposures and use a program called photmatix to combine them. It's called HDR (High Dynamic Range)

As for rubbing issues:
First, I can go lock to lock without touching the springs. The biggest issues are the lower portions of the fender liner and behind, and the lower corner of the bumper. -6MM Offset with an 8.5 inch wide wheel
Tonight, we did a significant amount of triming to allow for articulation. I also documented it. Luckily, it came out pretty good in maintaining a semi stock looking wheel arch.
We cut about an inch off the front bumper and took the corners off, connected the body lines on the fender of the rear of the wheel wells, cut the fender liner up and back, and cut the steel out from behind the fender liner...
And... Articlutaion photos, along with the finished product
Driver Side Flex:
Lock Left
Lock Right
Passenger Side Flex:
And just a normal picture after the chopping.
Sorry for the long post, but at least the info is out here.
