My tie rod end at the Pitman arm connection is worn. Anyone bought one recently. Found Moog's for $55 plus shipping. Ford original parts seem to run a little more
Anyone replace all of them recently? Where did you get your parts.
I bought one last week because mine is bad as well. Well, its barely bad but I can see some motion when someone rocks the steering wheel back and forth so I bought one. All my other steering joints are nice and tight except for that one.
I bought a Moog part number ES3427T from Rock Auto for $37 + shipping.
I'll take lots of pics as usual when I swap it out.
Here's the one I bought. There's been talk in other threads about Moog stuff not being made in the USA anymore. Two years ago my ball joints were, and this tie rod is too.
I bought this too. Dealer wants $300 to flush the trans with no filter change. I'm gonna use Mark K's write up and do it myslef
