Anyone else have a cat that loves to wrestle and play rough? I guess it's my fault, I'd play with her and encourage rough play since she was a kitten, now she sneaks up on me and starts a 'fight'.
Man I miss that cat! Mr. Bean adopted us 5 yrs. ago in the middle of the night in the middle of a rain storm. He was about 10 weeks old and was not amused that the sky had decided to wet on him so he parked himself under our bedroom window and yowled until we rescued him. He didn't even mind that we had an Austrailian Cattle Dog who rolled him around in the plush blankets. This cat turned out to be the consumate Hunter/Killer. Mr. Bean would on any given day bring home: Stellar Jays, Wood Peckers, Swallows, Humming Birds, Mice, Gophers, Shrews, Squirrels, Rabbits and his absolute favorite Roof Rats those he would bring home at night while we were sleeping and let go in the house so that he could watch me catch them in my PJ's with my welding gloves on(No Bull). Poor Mr. Bean got injured by a person unknown and crawled home. We took him to the Emergency Vet a strange Vet to us and new to the community. After 3 surgeries & many return visits we took Mr. Bean to our regular Vet. Our Vet without x-rays or bloodwork made the diagnostic that should have been made at the outset. Our poor Mr. Bean had suffered a cervical seperation and lost control of his large bowel. After $2300.00+ we ended up having to put him down for and additional $300.00. By the way the "Emergency Vet" never gave any options or quality of life opinions. That son of a Snails Turd should be eliminated from the gene pool. He just took when poor Mr. Bean would have been better of going to sleep. He really did get Sid Viscious after that. He'd let you pet him until your guard was down & then shred your arm. Or he would rub up against you while you were feeding him and then bite and claw you into pieces. Sometimes he would come into bed all purring and affectionate and then smack you senseless for no reason. Anyway Mr. Bean wasn't functioning in our world anymore and couldn't be trusted around little people and he went to "Dreamland". But man do I miss that cat!
Hehe poor mr..bean
sounded like a cool cat man...good hunter too. wow
Yeah....my cat is 10yr old now...and boy is she frisky...almost every nite she get s all crazy....plays on the stairs...rippin it up.
Her ears pointed back...owl eyes...jus plain nuts.
So i get the shoestring out...she just gives er.
anyway, coolest cat ive had.... Hershey her name.. waits for me when i come home from work. She knows my truck an comes runnim from the bushes as soon as i turn on my street.
And before i moved here last year, (i lived on texada isle.)
she used to always catch robins and mice and bring them to the porch to show me her catch. But since ive lived here ive yet to see any catches......kinda disapointing.

My cat misty is like that you get her started and she'll tear you up. When she was a kitten i would rough house with her and she has been like that ever since. Sometimes we call her "The Devil Kitty" with some of the looks she gives.
Oh cool...not that I thought I had the only two attack cats around but it's nice to read that there are others. My two males are the greatest..but they can play rough. They do the old wrap their front paws around your arm and hold it to them while they beat you up with their back feet. Though alot of people don't like this I did get them declawed all around when they were less than a year old. I'm glad..it's saved my furniture and me, and each other, many injuries. They never go outside unsupervised so they aren't in any danger from other animals.
My favorite is the middle of the night running through the house chasing each other...eyes big and black. One beats the other up..then the next night the other retaliates. Often, as I walk through the house one of them jumps me..trying to trip me..then look up so innocent.."Who me?". Love'm..wouldn't change a thing about them..their names are Louie and Vito..and they live up to their tough guy names.

Great stories, a little sad thinking about Mr. Bean. Pooh has that ability to bite just hard enough to make you sound off, but not break skin. Her favorite game is to play fetch with sponge *****. She's an inside cat, just couldn't bear having anything happen to her by going outside, and no fleas or ticks. My vet recently told me "if reincarnation exists, I want to come back as this cat".
Our cat Felix was orphaned when he was very tiny, so he was bottle fed by hand. Since he is so bonded with humans, he's the most affectionate cat I've ever seen. But he's also the most dangerous because he has a Jekyl/Hyde personality. So he likes to end his little lovey sessions by biting and shredding.
Felix loves attention and always greets our guests. I like to tell company "rub the kitty's tummy!" but my wife always saves them, yelling "NO" and giving me dirty looks, LOL!
Does attacking the neighbor's dog count? I had a cat adopt me many years ago. He was an full 20 pounds of attitude. He was the kindest, sweetest cat to people, but routinely tore the neighbors German Shepherd to shreds. That poor dog would run to the far corner of their yard and literally cower in fear when Mort would come outside.
I got the cat when I was helping my in-laws get ready to move their mobile home from Vancouver, WA to Longbeach (no comments please). We were getting everything cleaned up one night when I went outside and saw this cat wandering around. It walked up to me and started rubbing up against my legs. I bent over to pet him, and he jumped up onto my shoulders, sunk his back claws into my right shoulder, his front claws into my left shoulder and started licking my ear and purring. Being as big as he was, I couldn't get him off. I walked back into the house and said "I guess I have a cat now".
