hah, its ok, you would think that after all the years of tinkering with my truck i would know, but i have just never looked into it. that also means less money i will have to spend when i actually get that engine too:7

Nope, the mazda is a weak tranny. I hate it, I want to put a blower on my 302 but I can't until I get my tranny situation figured out. I don't know much about which tranny is best, but a ZF tranny from the F-250s and F-350 gas engines looks to be the ticket.
Primary rig is Green Thunder:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Flowmaster Exhaust, Sunroof, Clear corners w/ Diamond headlights, CD player with 2 10" subs and some 32" BFG Muds

The ZF is the tranny from the F-250-350 gas engines that bolts on the 351, but it's not that easy to convert. I'm trying to learn myself.
