also forgot, add "timing chain tensioner and timing set" to the list of repaired parts. in 90k miles, the factory tensioner disintegrated and the chain was being held taught by the piece of metal it used to ride on.

Obviously I'm biased. But I can't help but respect you a little more because of this statement. FoMoCo is better than a "Great Mistake" any day.
dude, i bleed ford blue. but this was the only thing on the table when i had to lay my 97 to rest. ive been combing craigslist and local ads for a cheap ford since the day i brought this home. ill always love the pre 97, but at this point, i just want an oval in my driveway.

i know what you mean 93 mix and match.........me and my brothers had the great pleasure lol to drive my paps 98 s10 for about a month and alll i can say is what a piece of junk......noises coming from all over the thing swayed all over the road feels like its manuel steering oh and the starter grinds everytime you start it up...........................did i mention it has only 92,000 miles lol what a joke
