One more new guy
Hey, I'm Nate from Ohio. I've been known as a mechanic (auto and heavy truck) and a rigger. I like to think of myself as a jack of all trades, and a master of none. I've got a 96 F250 supercab, short box 4x4, with the powerstroke and ZF. for now she's got a K&N, and no muffler. I pull trailer fairly often. I build performance motors in my spare time.
I used to have an 84 150, 300/4 speed. she hit the scrapyard at just over 350K, frame was shot, as was the body. We used to call it the F1****ty, since it looked bad and ran slow. The motor and tranny are still sitting in my garage, as a matter of fact, intimidating the chevy stuff.
I happened upon the forums here a few days ago, looking for tech on a buddy's truck.
I've got my eye on a 63 F100 that's sitting close around here, I'm thinking i'm gonna make the guy an offer he can't refuse when i get back from military duty.

Yes, the forums are a great way to get help and info on your Ford truck. Sounds like you could offer a tip or two yourself, as well.
If you pick up the '63 F100 make sure you post a picture when you get the chance.
