So I was driving home last night after mounting my new 285/75/16's and my dash started blinking in and out on me. The headlights were also kind of jumpy. I got pulled over because the taillights were also out. After a discussion with the cop (no tickets) he let me go with my hazards on. Any thoughts as to possible causes? Could it be in the floor high/low switch? I deduced that it was the tail lights, cab roof lights, and dash lights all out, and the headlights were kind of faltering b/w high and low. It's a 79 f250 crew cab all stock.
Thanks in advance.
And the winner is...headlight switch. A new switch corrected all of the lighting issues. It is always great when the easiest of possible fixes works.
Thanks everyone!!
