Installing the starter from the Excursion did the trick. All is right in Rich's diesel world for now. Still amazes me that I had more than one problem the whole time and it turned out to be the GPR & starter (and a couple of glow plugs). No wonder this drove me crazy - I kept thinking this was one issue I was trying to isolate and it would up being more than one problem. Took a while to get it all straight but she should be ready to haul them camper soon.
