Yeah, same here. I would like to be able to use one scanner for my Fords, and for my mom and dads Jeeps, etc. Sounds like to have full functionality I may end up buying a middle of the road scanner to read and clear codes and an Aeroforce Interceptor for my PSD as that seems to be the lowest common denominator.
no. but i know a guy who has the 7000 and it is a very good tool and works real good on the diesel engines.
i have the 4000 EZscan.
it works to an extant. if i had know of the limitations of the 4000, i would have bought the 7000.

Just curious if he has used the 7000 on an OBS PSD as they aren't fully OBD II compliant and seem to be pretty picky about the scanners they will work with.
Yeah, but just because you use the OBD I connector doesn't mean it will read the PSD right? I don't think just using a different connector changes what it will read and what it won't or am I wrong? I honestly don't know.
