Have not been on for a while....
Man, I have not been on here forever.
Does anyone remember me?
Bought a used 2001 F-150 XLT 4x2 last week. I will add pics later.
I still got the 2006 F-250 SD XL 4x4.
Bought some replacement headlight lenses for the 150 from RockAuto for $60/set. Yeah, its cheap. The quality seems to be ok so far. Bought the SilverStar Ultra 9007 Hi Po headlights for $55/set too. It was yellowish, now its more white. Trying to adjust the headlights, its a trial & error type of deal. I pull it up to the white garage door at night, place tape on top & 1 side of beam, then adjust a little, & then take it on a trial drive.
Next project this spring is replacing the rear main seal in the 150. It has the 4.2L V6. I heard its the same motor as the 3.8L V6, but the 4.2 has a longer stroke and different heads. The 4.2 & 3.8L takes a special tool to install the 1 piece seal. So, I already placed a thread somewhere else here- but this place says they have the tool for the 3.8L but they say nothing about the 4.2L. So does anyone know if they take the exact same tool?
