bronco wont move, new clutch

Hi guys these past few days I had to put a new release bearing in my 86 4.9l bronco with the t-18 trans casue the old one just shattered into pieces cause it was part plastic. As I took the trans off I messed up the pressure plate fingers a little so i replaced it and the clutch, so i got everything back together, I put the fork I between the slot on the release bearing, put a new clutch line on, now when i go to shift and let the clutch pedal out the truck don't move,
My question is did I put the fork on the release bearing right? I bought an all metal bearing. The fork doesnt go on the back side of the bearing does it ( right now it is on middle of bearing)? Its an external slave cyl.

Or is their a possibility that the bearing was so bad that I have to re adjust the clutch pedal on the master cylinder to et the clutch to engage?

well i took a look at it and noticed everything is right inside the transmission, then when i started the truck and tried it again, this time it still didnt do anything then i decided to try the 4wd shifter and it moves in 4x4hi and lo but not 2wd, how is that square bracket on the transfer case supose to be hooked up? right now it is upside down.

i might have that on wrong or something im guessing, but even tho i shoved the shifter forward still nothing.

Wow, that's incredible, it moves in 4x4 hi and low but not in 2wd. Is your rear driveshaft broken? rear axle locked up?

Try jacking up the rear end, see if the rear tires rotate.

Thought I wouldn't have time but I did, I looked in the Haynes manual and in the picture the the bracket for the shifter is suppose to be facing up so i undid the nut and swapped it and now it works, the shifter must have had the trans case in neutral with the bracket upside down

What works now? Did that fix the transfer case or the clutch problem?
