78 f250 bought 2 weeks ago today. had a 77 HD F250 when I was a kid and swore I would never part with it. ex wife had other plans and bitched till it was gone. should have stayed true to my word,"I will have this truck long after I get rid of you!" Oh well, been looking for years and have found one in nice shape, just needs a little tlc to get it where it needs to be. already spent about $3000 on new interior, carpet, seat, dash trim, door panels, weather stripping, handles, sill plates, outer handles, chrome factory style grill, chrome head light doors, new rear drive shaft, HEI conversion for the fresh 400 that will get the boot first chance i get, holly 4150, and a pile of odds and ends. First saw the truck at a show in salem wv, my first and only one I have ever entered my 48 in and the 78 placed. a few months later and a sighting by my son, it is now the latest in my growing stable of fords

Thanks, they are nice to work on especially the 48 since I built it from the ground up I know every inch of it. As for the 78, I completely re-built a 77 so I'm in familiar territory. Nothing beats the looks when I take them out
