Yikes, i'll bet that pivot bushing was a job.
On the ball joints, in past I always borrow the tool from an Oreillys. On the drivers side of my old Subaru I had to take the left side lower control arm out and took it to the local shop and they pressed the old one out and the new one in for $10.
