Frame Measurement

Were the '78 F350 4X4 frames 34 or 38 inches wide?

Thanks

There is no such thing as a 1978 F-350 4x4....1979 was the 1st year for the F-350 in 4x4 Form!!

All right answers. NO F350 4x4 until 79. 37 1/2" frame width unless it's a "highboy" (F250 4x4s before serial #Y20001) or on a 140" wheelbase such as the Camper Special and Super Camper Special. Not sure if the Trailer Special is 140" WB?
