American Flag

I want to attach an American-flag to my truck's antenna. I'm not quite sure how to do that; I'm thinking of getting a small flag with a sleeve and then using a clip at the top to keep it on.

I suggest sleeving the flag over a thin wooden dowel with the dowel's ends protruding at the top and bottom. Then use small zip-ties on the dowel to secure it to the antenna. Simple.

I use the flags with a plastic sleeve that snaps on the antenna. Some electrical tape keeps the flag from moving up or down on the antenna. For added security I drill a couple of small holes in the plastic sleeve and run small gauge phone wire through them to make sure the flag stays on the antenna. Ebay has some under "antenna American flag". about 4 1/2' BY 6"
