ok i got a 89 ford f150.. i was workn on pullin the leafs because they were cracked.. well i got everything off except the front bolt.. theyre stuck n dont even move.. any suggestions?? thank yall..
Heat, penetrating oil, and a very big breaker bar. With enough of those three it will come loose or break. Either way you can remove the spring.
If you don't have enough of those three you will have to cut the bolt off. A sawzall, grinder or hot wrench should do the trick. Bolts are cheap. Don't worry too much about saving it.
well ive soaked it wit just bout everythang and used a big freakn breaker bar + cheater pipe and it only moves a little.. just did it ta my ranger last rear and it just came right out.. wth??
Yep, that's what I mean; oxy acetylene. Like these guys
Okay, so everybody doesn't have a cutting rig at the house. I was being a little tongue in cheek there. Really, if you can't get these bolts out then you're going to have to cut them. Use whatever cutting tool you have. I would just use the cutting torch because it's faster. But you do have the possibility of setting the truck, or yourself, on fire.
