WD-40 didn't work. gonna have to pull some relays and switch them around to see if that changes anything. I don't have WD-40 because I use all different kinds of lubricants or water displacements because WD-40 and guns don't mix too well (no corrosion inhibitors/cleansers)
If this all started happening after you had the radio put in then I would be at the installers door bright and early telling him to fix it. If they refuse to fix it or can't then I would have Ford do it and present the bill to the installer. Small claims court after that. They messed up your wiring somehow or shorted out something.
Now, if it was happening before the install then disregard!

Only if you assume the two events are connected. A door switch could fail at anytime, no matter what you do with the radio.
My problem with the door switch/timer relay fixed itself for about 1/2 mile and as soon as I shut her down it went bad again. Now I'm frustrated...
PS Is it difficult to replace the door sensor switch? They don't seem to be very expensive and wondering if they are hard to get into and replace. It looks like the handle is riveted in on my supercab doors.
