Well said, the ford handles the trailor not the other way around. I pulled next to a 3500 hd tonight with about 6" lift and 35's and my truck w/o lift and 35's was bigger. It just feels and rides like a truck and pulls like a train!

Because it is the best truck in the world! Ford hasn't been #1 in sales for this many years for nothing.

Aside from the crazy amount of power, inside and out, it is the best looking truck on the road.

I don't know how the pumps work; never used one and none near me.
All I've heard is you need some type of magnetic device.
The Flying J I pass through, you can but don't do it when there is a lot of truck traffic; you might get more than a glare!

Why by a Ford? Best damn looking truck and the 6.7 is awesome. Oh, and it didn't hurt that Ford paid me off for my 6.4 PSD disaster.

I bought my Ford because I liked interior room, fit and finish. 6.7 diesel towing power is awesome. Its a good looking truck as long as its not broken down along side of the road. Once that happens, or in my case 4x times in 5 months, all the good of the truck doesn't apply anymore and once you think about the $50+ grand you paid for it, it feels like being sucker punched. Then factor in Ford refusing warranty and wanting $12k to fix it only elevates stress, blood pressure, anxiety and that the RAM and GM trucks don't look so bad anymore!

Thumbs up

I am BRAND loyal. So...being loyal to FORD...I purchase a FORD.

What that also means...is if the brand I trust...treats me wrong...or does me in a bad way, then off to a different brand. I truly understand items break or need repair, but it's the treatment after the sale I am most loyal to.

FORD isn't #1 in sales for no reason...

Let me also add...the other day when drove my friends 2011 F250 PSD...I was just totally impressed with the outright POWER of the 6.7 PSD. I am not someone that is easily impressed either. Just looking around in the truck, the power, how smooth the ride was, all the NAV and comfort of the interior had me wanting to go buy one.

It also just felt SOLID...and really didn't DRIVE like a truck...if you know what I mean. I also remember driving my sister's older F250 which really doesn't hold a candle to the new 6.7.

Just go drive all three brands in one day...I say start with the GM Silverado 2500, then drive the Dodge 2500, then finish with the F350 6.7 PSD. I will be willing to bet you will go back to the Ford dealer for your purchase.

If I could afford it I would have one today!!!

Edit: BTW I am NOT brand loyal as I currently own a Toyota Sequoia.

Why buy American made

My first car was a 69 stang fastback, then a 72 F250, then what I could afford (POS cars). My frst order was a 92 F150. Then I tried a Camry and a Tundra then went back to an F250, and now a new F350. Ford didnt take Obama bailout money. That really speaks volumes about Fords commitment to gives its customer what they want and need, not what Obama wants. I like the fact American workers have always built the trucks. My new F350 I feel, was built to work hard and play hard and do so reliably. I'm sure that Govt money was tempting, but Ford knew they couldnt build what we want with Obama holding the checkbook and influencing the products we love and I love my diesel guzzling 8,000lb plush pig of a truck. Go Ford.

I'm thinking you meant to say, "President" Obama.

It's really simple why FORD did not need bailout money. They sold all the other brands prior to the collapse. Had...and still has nothing to do with President Obama.

The 6.7L is truly a modern marvel. Built in house...and gives the industry proof that a modern auto company...can design and develop in house with its own resources. I predict with some certainty...that the 6.7L will be around for many years...and LOTS of FORD owners...with ear to ear grins.

That is not to say these new '11 and '12 SD's are prefect. Next redesign...please work on the front door lock system!

In the midst of the current administration financing failing companies to get votes, Ford stood alone and maintained faith in its customer (that we would continue buying). I and others feel good about Ford in this respect.

I bought mine because it was A FORD and my family have been Ford folks since way back. The 1st vehicle I had when I was 14 years old was a 1947 Red Ford 1 ton single wheel with a stake body, wish I still had it

I like the looks of the Dodge trucks. I always have but I've heard many mechanics tell me to stay away from them. When shopping for a truck I knew that the GM's were equally as capable as the Fords and they have outstanding warranties. I sold an Escalade ESV for my Ford. Why? Because the Escalade was actually too nice. I wanted something more rugged. Something that I wouldn't get upset if I scratched or dented it. GM's 6.2l engine is a beast and sounds wonderful.

I just liked the look, feel, interior room, and awesome engine. I came very close to buying the gas F-250. I had a 2006 Mustang GT that I wish I still had. The 2013 Shelby is the stuff of dreams! Ford products just get me going. Ford Explorer is another great vehicle especially off road and in snow. I TRUST a Ford.

PS who wouldn't give a limb for a 1970 Gran Torino???
