Have any of you had problems with your 360 to where your spark plugs will back out on their own? I had one a while back that was lose and i tightened it and now i checked them again and two of them on the driver side are loose.. What could cause this? To much vibration? what?
thanks.
I haven't used Autolites since they shipped production overseas 3-4yrs ago, they tried to be sneaky about it too, the plugs use to be stamped "made in usa", now the plugs are just left blank, but the packaging is marked "made in china" or "made in mexico".
I still have a couple dozen of the old "made in usa" Autolite 45's on the garage shelf, but when that supply is exhausted i'll probably just run Motorcraft BF42C's (assuming they're still made in usa).

BINGO Compare a new AP45 to an old USA made AP45 , well something got lost in translation as it seems from measure them they rounded down to the nearest decimal point when converting from standard to metric. The plugs are smaller and thats why you can install them by hand and they wiggle so bad until you tighten them. The threads are not making full contact with the threads in the head. The NGK plugs that cross to AP45 have a very nice fit and finish.

Hate to tell you this as you may be hartbroken but I just picked up some motorcraft plugs and they are made in Mexico my friend. Im going to install them in a month or two and if they are loose fitting I might just s can them and get another brand. Ill track this post down and let you know how they fit.

I'd rather have mexican parts, than chineese.
As for the "lost in translation" theory, I thought spark plugs always used metric threads? 14mm or 18mm.
