Custom tunes are much more refined compared to off the shelf brands based on the data logging that I have been doing. There are several popular choices for custom tunes. I have PHP Phoenix chip right now and have been very pleased with it. It has lots of power, good mileage and EGTs are managed very well (even with stock exhaust).

I'm sure you'll get a lot of replies for DP Tuner.
I have one and I won't complain about it but I'm likely going to switch over to tunes from Matt at Gearhead Performance. Just looking to change things up a bit.
I've also heard a lot of good things about tunes from Brian at BTS.
