bunches of reviews, can find via the internet.. google searches

Sound deadener review

I used RattleTrap (80mil), including the roof.. then dual foil closed cell insulation,
then the jute backing, then carpet. very quiet, no heat from outside as well.
I used the rattletrap in the doors too..
I posted some pics

some have used the foil back roof repair stuff from Lowes.. some complain about smell, some don't..

these deadeners stop vibration harmonics, drone.. but don't stop heat.

Check out B-Quiet. I've used it and can't tell a difference between it and Dynamat and B-Quiet is about 1/3 to 1/4 of the price.

I have used Hushmat in both a 70 Mustang and a 74 F-100. I run headers, etc and the sound and heat difference is noticably different from normal underlayment and carpet. Hushmat like others can be had on auction sites for a reasonable price.

The best thing about it you put it on a surface be it floor, inside door etc it stays there.
