Needed its won thread.

I was hoping to get a bit of guidance on the best possible resolve for an axle centering issue I have. I think I can get it back under the truck with and adjustable track bar, but I want to make sure thats all I should need. I have a revtek leveling kit on my 05 f350, the front axle is now a bit off center to the drivers side and the trackbar is the cause. Would installing an adjustable do the trick, or would I need something else as well? Any help would be very welcome! Thanks! JOE>

Welcome to FTE Joe! Yes, an adjustable track bar should resolve the front axle alignment issue. Revtek doesn't make an adjustable track bar but there are other's available in the aftermarket. Hopefully the previous owner installed the "Eccentric Alignment Bushings" that came with the Revtek 2.5" Leveling Kit. If not, then you local alignment shop can install the proper bushings.

The track bars are essentially the same but the spherical heim joint will have closer tolerances to help eliminate the "death wobble" of the 2005 and up Super Duties. Unless you are experiencing "death wobble," I would purchase Part# 64030.

Maybe a dumb question here, but a few months ago I installed a 2.5" leveling kit and then re-installed the original track bar, so I'm thinking this caused the axle to be slightly off center.
Now I have installed an adjustable track bar, but how would this re-center the axle, or is the re-centering just something that the alignment shop would essentially now be able to take care of thanks to the adjustable bar?

My understanding is that when you lift a truck, whether is it a 2" leveling kit or a 12" lift kit, the distance between the pitman arm and the front axle increases as well. By using the OEM fixed length track bar, there will be pressure toward one side of the front axle (because it is too short), thus bringing the front axle our of alignment (center). The adjustable track bar offers two features... 1) It is longer than the OEM fixed length track bar, and 2) It can be adjusted to accomodate any size lift.

So, yes, with your adjustable track bar, the alignment shop will have everything needed to center your front axle.

The track bar is used to center the front axle under the truck (side to side). When you lift the front of the truck the bar does not get longer or shorter so the axle has to move to one side as the vehicle gets taller the axle gets more off. Thats the benefit for a bracket or adjutable bar, they allow the Owner to adjust back to center after lifting the truck. I just do not know much about these trucks or what is quality or not or brands to stay away from, or anything like that. I understand how it works just want to make sure this is the correct direction more or less. Many thanks for all the replies so far! JOE>
