When im driving and the truck is moving my AC is fine it blows cold and doesnt have an odor. But when im paused and trucks not moving theres a horrible gas like odor that smells really bad. Any ideas what this is??? AC works good it blows nice cold air but that smell wow is bad
How much do you know about the history of the truck or it's AC system? Years ago I heard of people charging their AC system with propane or some other combination of dangerous gases actually sold as AC refill products. Unless or until you know that is not the case, I wouldn't have any flames inside the cab such as smoking a cigarette.
Actually ya my rear gas tank has a leak, but i still dont see how it connects with AC
It's not that it connects with the A/C, but the fumes will come into the cab when you come to a stop and the air behind you catches up with you. The A/C being on is circulating the fumes in the cab from inside and out
