Okay, so I have a question about it real quick because I've honestly never dealt with this modification before.
What is exactly safe for these motors that are non intercooled? I mean, with gasoline, I've talked about nitrous and the scary word DETONATION. Now my question is, how do you run propane effectively and safely? How do you control the shot of propane that is given to your engine? Are there different nozzles?
I'm not looking for a ton of horsepower here. My engine is bone stock (75,000 miles approx.). I just want a little "umph" for some play - plus a little kick when I'm tugging the boat around. What I don't want, is a blown engine and pieces of pistons in my oil pan.
You guys have seen this stuff for a while, so if you can seriously give me some insight here, I'd appreciate it. Knowledge keeps us newbs out of trouble, and I'm always down to learn.
Thanks.

Back in the day lots of guys jumped on the propane pony and many got bucked off hard by over applying it causing windowed blocks. If you can control yourself and not put too much in you will be fine, given you have a system to install. I looked at it real close a number of years ago and instead went with injectors, chip and supporting mods. That truck went almost 500,000 kilometres, when I parked it for a parts truck.
Windowing will be a $10K to fix just keep that in mind...
I've been thinking about adding a kit to my truck for a long time, I would be interested in buying your kit.
I opened my mouth to quick, someone else ask before you. If they don't come through then I'll keep you in mind #2, LOL. It's stored in SD and I'm in AZ, i won't be up there until June or so.
