Hey everyone,
I have a 1999 ford f250 7.3l diesel. Last weekend i started the truck up, and it filled with smoke, turns out i had a mouse chew through some wires and smoked most of the wiring harness. I redid the wiring, started the truck back up and found that the altenator wasn't charging, altenator checked out ok, found that a fusible link to the altenator was blown. Now every time i try to start it it blows the fusible link coming off of the starter solenoid. I know its connected to the glow plugs because when i unhook them, it doesn't blow. Anyone have any suggestion?
Thanks, Joel
