coolant leak

had coolant leak on my 93 f250... took a look around ... ... found out it was the coolant bypass hose... $16 fix...hose was cracked...

Is coolant leaking a trend ?

My trusty steed let me down yesterday. It rejected most of it's coolant. So I am now in search mode the bypass hose is intact and dry so is the t-stat area I think the rad itself gave up and died. It looks like the fan did all the coolant slinging so I start from the top center area of the radiator ... Any thoughts ?

ya good was cheap fix.... if not any the hoses id guess rad... mine has new rad so it was ruled out right aways...
could double chek all hoses

New is better !!!

Well after 213,000+ miles my radiator came apart at the seams ...pass. side tank. So I called 1-800 Radiator and got a HD 2 row (most are not 4 row anymore) delivered to my door for $145.00 total ... direct fit !!! ...Also gonna recheck the t-stat too !!!
