That seems to say the D44 was only used in the front from 75 to 78. "Ford F150 Front 75-78".

You're right, but notice that it covers the Bronco to '96. We all know though, the F series and the Bronco are the same truck in the front end for the respective years...right?

Yep. And, I know its wrong because Dad's truck has the D44 under the front end and it is an '81.
