Most miles on a 6.7 update?

I did a search and couldn't find a recent thread on this. Post up how many miles you have on your 6.7 and any issues you've had up to this point, if any at all. If you have had any major issues with the engine or tranny, post the mileage at which it occurred. Also post whether your truck is stock/tuned/deleted.

Looking for responses from owners with higher miles. I'm sure you're really proud of your new truck that has had 500 trouble free miles (as you're entitled to be), but that really doesn't tell us much about the longevity of these trucks.

I am at 84,600 right now. I had a bad radiator replaced at 59,000 miles.

No re flashes except for the 400/800 that came out for job 1 trucks. Build date 07/10. Occasional transmission "flare" but I don't care. No work has been done on it otherwise, no TSB or flash, no parts of any kind.

I had a new stock steering stabilizer installed at 70,000 or so. I put new shocks and tires on it at 59,000 miles. I put the AFE intake/filter on at 59,000 as well. Love it.

I will put another 1400 miles on the truck in the next 5 days as I work my way home.

There are a couple people here with more miles than I run. Honestly, anyone that averages more than 1,000 per week like I do does not have much time to visit FTE very often!

All I can say is that I am on the road a lot, I fuel up whenever I need it, run additive when I feel like it, and my miles are almost exclusively towing medium weighted trailers. 80% of my miles are at a GVW of around 18,000 pounds and 12MPG.

2011 F350 crew, long box w/ 26K miles. Had the 400/800 flash put in when that came out. Replaced some ball joints and other parts under warranty a short time ago to eliminate the front end death wobble. Completely stock other than some Husky mud flaps. Very happy with the truck. Overall average of 14.8 mpg.

43,000 miles. Built 7/10 More miles towing 10,000 - 13,000 lbs trailers than running empty.

I had them replace the front steering stablizer, Flash and replace two selinoids in tranny at 35,900 miles. Other than that just oil and filter changes.

Half way thru my second set of Michelins.

Truck is running great

Well...you asked...it has not been pretty

41000 miles as of today

In shop multiple times

New engine fan clutch @ 3500 miles
Rear lighting problems @ 8000 miles
CEL-bad fuel injector @ 21000 miles
Exploded HPFP-no warranty-$10030.00 bill @ 34900 miles
NOX sensor @ 39000 miles

Truck has been meticulously maintained by the same dealer that did all the repairs on the truck.

5 breakdowns in less than 40000 miles...or more than one return trip for repairs for each regularly scheduled maintenance visit....

Regards

Only 15K

Still have one more of the free oil changes coming from dealer, the second one cost me $140 for the fuel filter portion. Only other expense to date has been 5 gallons of DEF, that I've added between the free fills.

So far, no issues or complaints, other than bouncing on concrete section of the freeway, oh and a dome light would have been a nice option on the supercab.

Put about 70K on my work van, since the time I bought my truck. Much rather be in my F-350, but much rather have the mileage pile up on the company van.

38,000 miles here. No problems.

Replaced front springs and all 4 shocks when I installed the icon leveling kit. New tires too at 34k miles.

Got the reflash a long time ago. Fixed the shifting 100%

Got the dealership to replace the Ford logo on the tailgate because the double sided tape started to fail.

Two new taillight bulbs.

Added a skidplate to the lower fuel filter.

Love the truck. No real problems.

Why did you replace solenoids?

I guess we are reviving an almost 6 year old thread. Back in the day, the 2011's had some transmission issues and some had defective solenoids - so new solenoids were part of the repair as was a flash.

PH replaced the 2011 with a 2015 and that just got replace with a 2017. He puts decent amounts of miles on his trucks and hopefully will chime in with what his various trucks have needed.

I replaced a 2011 in 2014 with a 2015. I have 36k miles on my 2015 and nothing has been repaired on it. Every once in a while I think something is amiss, but it turns out that nothing is wrong with it. My 2011 had several repair visits for recalls and TSBs, but looking back on it, it was all minor. Nox sensors and reflashes.

I will comment that the stock tires and shocks are mediocre. Liveable, but this is one area where I deviate from stock at replacement time.

Wow, The dead has risen.

My 2011 gave me 145,000 miles before I sold it and bought my 2015, Which gave me 88,000 before I decided I needed a bunch of new cameras.

Nothing wrong with my 2015 truck. I just got an itch to be able to see how close I'm getting to the car in front of me in the parking lot and I hope to be able to see the GN hitch when I'm hooking up the horse trailer.

2011 truck
Brakes around 60,000 ( Frozen Caliper and destroyed rotor)
Front Hubs around 105,000 miles
EGT Sensor #4 120,000
Turbo Coolant connector 120,000
Turbo Oil connector at 130,000
EGT Sensor #2 at 140,000
Nothing terribly expensive. Just small inconveniences

2015 Truck
Brakes at 80,000 miles ( Frozen Caliper again)
Steering Wheel Position Sensor went bad 80,000

127,500 on a 2012.

Radiator replaced at 60k under warranty
EGT sensor replaced around 80k (recall/warranty)
Starter froze up and had to be replaced at just over 100k. (no warranty)
DEF heater and pump at 115k (no warranty - $1500)

Other than that, the truck has been great.

Bought my truck at 130K. I don't know what issues the previous owner had, if any.
Truck has 146k now.

DEF heater went out at 136k. Then I deleted. Batteries were bad and replaced around 140k (I don't know how old they were).

Otherwise, no issues in the last 16k miles I've had it. Truck runs and drives like it's brand new.
