Hey. My truck goes back in the shop for the second time tomorrow night. There is a knocking and Klunking in the front end while hitting bumps and going around turns (left or right). I have also heard a sound like the tires are rubbing something (theyre not) after hitting a bump. ( I've heard this 3 times and it goes away after hitting a bump, I will hear a "pop" and it's gone). The first time it was in the shop they replaced the track bar and it did nothing to fix the problem. Also since then my tire rubs my mud flap on the left side which it never did before. (I have a level and 35's). Any ideas on what the issue could be greatly appreciated as the dealership I dealing with is absolutly terrible on all aspects. Truck is a 2012 with 8000km. Thanks!

Check your shock bolts. They are often not torqued down properly and will loosen a little. You migt have a loose shock.
It may just be the wheel well material. If you've negotiated any mud or snow lately the material in the well may just need to be pushed back a bit. I experienced the same thing (I think) after I went mudding. I had a weird rubbing noise for a few weeks before I figured out what it was. Push back the material!
Thanks guys! But it's a negative on the shock bolts and wheel well liners. Had the cab mounts shimmed and lock tight put on them. That lasted about 2 hours of driving time and now it's worse then ever. Took a mechanic for a drive the other day too. It goes back to the shop for the third time tonight. Any ideas? Thanks!
I don't know what it is but mine is doing the same thing. It's a 2012 F-250 FX4 and just turned over 3,000 miles this last weekend. I replaced the shocks myself because the factory Ranchos/FoMoCo were terrible and still the same "pop" noise. I tried taking out the body mount bolt and re-torquing and still the same noise. I know the dealership will give me the same run around like they are doing you by just replacing parts and not actually identifying the problem so I haven't gone that route yet. Keep us updated on what actually fixes it.
So apparently the grinding issue has been fixed (ball joints were all out of whack) but I haven't drivin it enough to find out yet. Asked them to do an alignment because it was pulling to the right. Now after they did it it's pulling to the left. Now I am waiting for all new cab mounts to be ordered and installed. I knew I should have went for the Denali HD.
