Need some input. F250 4X4 Diesel, Auto trans, 172,000 miles. When i am crusing at a steady speed. The almost feels like it has a miss, but it is not a dead miss. Its not hard just a constant little jerk. I do not feel it when I accelerate or I am just sitting still and racing the engine. I have no water in the fuel, air & fuel filter are good. I had this same feeling sometime last year and it went away. Any Ideas??? Thanks David
I has a issue like that and it was a bad spot in the TPS (throttle position sensor) bottom sensor on the go pedal. If you have a good multimeter you can test it. Put black to NEG. post on battery and red in the middle wire on the TPS plug and with key in run position slowly press the pedal and watch for and flat/dead spots in the voltage

TPS(throttle position sensor) is the top sensor. IVS(Idle validation switch) is the bottom sensor.
