I have a 04 F-150,Also a 2000 expedition. The expedition has a stereo with 6 cd changer and a casette player, F150 has standard am,fm cd player. Did Ford ever put same stereo in F150,s thats in my expy, wanten a cd player in it also?.Thanks,Paul
I went from a 2000 Expedition with the "premium" sound to an 05 F-150 with the base radio/cd player. The expedition sounded so much better it's not even funny. To answer your question, they definitely had upgraded packages available on these trucks. They included amp, better speakers, more options (changers, aux input), and sub under the back seat. I don't think the ones you have are interchangeable, though.
The ones you have are not interchangeable. They should look completely different and be a different size. I have the original CD player out of mine in my garage if you might be interested, I might be willing to make a deal with you PM me. But as always, aftermarket is a lot better sound qualities and features but does cost a little more.
Thanks for the help fellas,I was not wanting to swap radios from f-150 to expedition, was just wondering if they made sterio like the one in expedition for the f-150 cd,and casette player. From answers i recieved they offered such a sterio and i,ll start the looking process. Thanks,Paul
