I'm curious as to why this is a user guideline. Can anyone explain? That leads to a follow up question. Besides the minimum 25 posts to PM or post in Classifieds what additional features do you gain access to at other levels?

How do you properly request or suggest that a thread be moved or deleted? I didn't find that in the FAQ but I'll admit that I didn't read every single page. Is that up to the moderators to see an inline suggestion or is there a button for doing that? All I can find is the report button.

It's an anti-spam tactic; without some sort of restriction, people sometimes will
1) Sign up and mass-post commercial SPAM as PMs to people, or
2) Try to advertise & sell their wares to the group.
FTE is aiming to create a community of enthusiasts, a group of people who talk to each other, help each other, share in the hobby together and who contribute to the community.
The Classified section is intended to benefit those community members, not as a place for newbies to come sell their stuff.
