COP'S MOVE

99 F250LD 4x4 w/5.4 211k.
I've been getting that intermittent miss in od when going up hills . (Probably no. 4 cop). Problem is, I was looking at the cop's for any moisture and I pushed down on the connections just out of habit . I noticed that there is quite a bit of movement in all of them. I would think that the retainning bolt would prevent this. I do know that they have been like that for as long as I've owned the truck. Is this the norm?
Thanks for any replies.

Very normal.

Its there to hold the coil down, they have a spring that contacts the plug. There is no need to have them super tight.

With only one little retaining bolt they all tend to move around a little.
