Edit: in case anyones wondering the thing that looks like it holds rockets in the backround did infact hold rockets.. It held one of the appalos and the other was on the other side the buildings 130 feet tall.. 80 foot tall air driven doors. Oh and a 1980 ford n9000 in the backround too

 

Nothing special. Shocks were a limiting factor here...

I want to ditch the factory radius arm setup too.

 

I try to avoid that with my truck because for some reason the top of the bed can hit and dent the back of the cab in these trucks if you get it in too much of a bind. For a mud truck who cares but if you have a nice paint job beware.

 

Dang. I saw you posted and was hoping to see that monster of yours do something other than looking purdy.

Nice flex Alex, especially with leaf springs on each corner. You just dont see leafs on all fours as much anymore.

when i first got my truck i put a metal car ramp under one rear and opposite front tire to see the flex. For just a 2wd there's a ton of flex in these old pickups. The bed was actually touching the back of the cab, so i didn't test the flex any higher. I do enjoy watching all the 4x4 owners flex their rides.
