up date, truck is alive! found the two ground wires dangling next the the radiator and kinda blended in, so i found them and connected to the battery, fired right up!thank you guys for your help and invaluable insight! and no there was no dead mouse, I know the smell of burned electrical! lol!!!

I am having the exact same issue when I came across this thread. Can you please verify where these “dangling wires” went to that fixed your injector problem please??

Two power grounds come out of the harness, to a connector (if it is still there), and should be terminated at the battery negative. If this doesn't solve your problem, you should start your own thread. In this picture, the two ground wires were incorrectly connected to the O2 sensor harness. They should go to the battery negative.
